 Tungsten has the highest melting point (3410¡ãC) of the four common      refractory metals (W, Mo, Ta, Nb).   It offers high strength at very high  temperatures, so it can be used in many fields.

 Molybdenum has high melting of 2620 ¡ãC as well as its high-temperature   strength allow the application of Mo at temperature up to 1900¡ãC. Because of  the high mechnical stability at high temperature molybdenum and its alloy are   widely used.
